Stargazer at Berkeley Hills

Our fully renovated 1927 Berkeley Hills home offers views of the San Francisco Bay and Golden Gate Bridge. It is exceptionally located 2 miles north of UC Berkeley, half mile to Tilden Park, 1.5 miles to Chez Panisse and the Gourmet Ghetto.

Welcome to Stargazer Studio! We occupy the top level of the home and offer the lower level one bedroom space to guests. The private apartment has been fully renovated.

There is a separate entry and ample street parking in front. While the space is private, it is right under our living space therefore you will hear us living upstairs, akin to an older apartment building. We are mindful of the fact that sound travels and are quiet late at night and early in the mornings.

The wonderful Monterey Market is 1.5 miles away, and the North Berkeley all organic Farmers Market is on Shattuck Ave. on Thursdays. The neighborhood is quiet, friendly, and close to all that Berkeley has to offer. A short commute to San Francisco.

We warmly welcome guests to our home and community. Our interaction is a balance in respecting guest privacy while being accessible and providing a local experience.

Charming old north berkeley neighborhood. We are just a few blocks from Tilden Park and less than 2 miles from Cal Berkeley.

The # 65 Euclid Ave bus is one block below our street, just down the charming Billie Jean stairway adjacent to our property. This will take you to the downtown Berkeley Bart station in 10 minutes. A car is not necessary in the Bay Area, but I highly recommend having one here; makes getting around much easier and quicker. Also affords the freedom of some great day trips, such as Napa and Sonoma!

Uber/Lyft/Zipcar are also options in Berkeley

We have one dog on the property. His name is Bayou and he is an 11 year old Louisiana Catahoula.

Cooking is limited in the studio. We have a microwave and a mini fridge.

Stairs! We have lots of them. Must walk down several flights to reach the studio.

Please note the studio is entirely private, however it is attached to the main house so sound can travel.

We are UP the hill. Walking to coffee shops etc. not an option so we recommend bringing what provisions you might want to have on hand with you prior to arrival.

**There is a security deposit, however no money is actually charged or held by Airbnb upon booking. This deposit is only used in the event that anything is broken, or if the house is left excessively messy.
